  • Overview

    Provides exceptional customer service and ensures cleanliness for the members and guests of The Spa and PRO Sports Club at a world class level while enforcing rules and policies. Performs a variety of customer service duties including, but not limited to, providing a full range of service to members and guests focusing on executive locker room, including cleanliness, optimal operations, food and beverage components, completing assigned work duties, and working as a team member. Adheres to PRO Sports Club's core values, mission statement and PRO Best is expected and critical to the success of The Spa and PRO Sports Club as a whole, as well as a commitment to going above and beyond.

    Responsibilities

    - Maintains and provides excellent customer service at all times
    - Greets all Executive members/guests by name, when possible, while performing duties
    - Accommodates and anticipates all Executive members/guests’ requests expediently, courteously and in a gracious manner making them feel welcome and attended to
    - Handles Executive member/guest complaints by acknowledging the problem, and informing the supervisor or Assistant Manager of Guest Services when necessary
    - Welcomes all members to Executive Locker Room
    - Provides Executive Locker Room tours of space and amenities
    - Coordinates with Program Supervisor and Event Coordinator for locker rentals when necessary
    - Assist members/guests in scheduling spa and salon services as requested
    - Assist members/guests in ordering food and beverage
    - Utilizes software programs for food and beverage and spa and salon services
    - Monitors Locker Room for electronic devices, and communicates with members why these are not allowed in locker room spaces
    - Communicates with members, spa concierge team and providers (when applicable) to ensure timely guest pick-up as needed
    - Maintains executive locker room in an immaculate condition at all times
    - Prepares, maintains and breaks down beverage bars and snacks daily.
    - Ensures glasses and dishes are stocked and displayed properly.
    - Continuously circulates through all areas of the executive locker room and ensure members needs are anticipated and exceeded to the best of ones ability.
    - Continuously circulates through assigned areas to pick up glass and dishware, trash, magazines and deposits towels, robes, slippers in appropriate laundry drop
    - Ensures magazines are in covers and recent
    - Keeps all closets, cabinets and storage areas clean and organized in all assigned areas
    - Maintains full stock of supplies in assigned areas which includes but is not limited to restocking: 1.) spa lockers with robes, slippers and appropriate guest locker cards; 2.) storage areas and treatment rooms as needed with towels, robes, sandals, products, etc.; 3.) food prep area/bus station accordingly; 4.) beverage bar and snacks; 5.) spa and lounge restroom toiletries, supplies, magazines and amenities
    - Assist with laundry duties such as pulling robes, towels, and other supplies from the laundry room and bringing them to the executive locker room to be replenished
    - Follows WA State guidelines for disinfecting and cleaning for all necessary items
    - Knowledgeable about chemicals needed to disinfect and clean and how to use them properly
    - Aware of SDS and how to utilize it if necessary
    - Practices and enforces all safety procedures, cleans up any spills and wet areas, to prevent safety hazards
    - Maintains an excellent appearance of the executive locker room and all areas of the spa, salon and club
    - Must keep executive locker room show ready at all times (not limited to) pick up towels, cups, glasses, papers, robes, slippers and deposits in appropriate laundry chute, maintain hair dryer stations, vacuum all executive locker room carpet, spa stairs and carpet edges, clean shower drains and sink basins, mirrors, exterior/interior of spa lockers, including tops of lockers, cabinet fronts and interior of cabinets
    - Refill all amenities such as shampoo, body wash, mouthwash, lotion, deodorant, hairspray, toilet paper, shaving cream, etc.
    - Empties trash/recycle receptacles as needed
    - Maintains appropriate supplies in each area
    - Empty towel collection bins in the Executive Locker Room
    - Notifies Supervisor or Manager via email or using proper forms when any supplies are low and unable to fulfill from Spa Storage
    - Folds and stocks all spa robes and rolls all spa/salon towels for Executive Locker Room.
    - Notifies Supervisor/Manager with all maintenance needs
    - Understands and is capable of completing any or all listed items on task sheet or assigned projects
    - Oversees the smooth operations of the Executive Locker Room
    - Arrives at work Show Ready daily
    - Checks in and out with Spa Concierge Supervisor or Manager when leaving The Spa for breaks, lunch, and or shift
    - Consistently fills out shift checklist sheet
    - Must be CPR training and certified and comfortable handling potential situations
    - Must hold a Food Handlers permit and Alcohol Server permit
    - Willingness to work flexible hours and finds replacement when unable to work assigned scheduled shift
    - Attends all department meetings
    - Performs other related duties as assigned by management

     

    Hourly Compensation: $14.00 - $16.00

    Qualifications

    - High school graduate or equivalent
    - Experience in housekeeping and hospitality industry is preferred
    - Must possess a current state food handlers permit and alcohol service permit
    - Must have experience in customer service
    - Current CPR Certification required (From either Red Cross or American Heart Association)
